:: The Missional Internship is a ministry-based training environment that equips men and women with the head, heart, and hands competencies of knowing, following, and imitating Jesus Christ. We seek to shape fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ and develop biblically qualified leaders, who integrate their faith, character, and influence to extend the Kingdom of God. Interns receive a comprehensive ministry and leadership experience individually tailored to draw out the calling, character, and Kingdom contribution the Lord has been shaping within them.
:: The Missional Internship is a 40 hour per week commitment with a 1-2 year term. Interns play a significant role in the life of Grace, gaining ministry and leadership experience in multiple areas of the local church as well as within the wider Body of Christ in San Antonio. Interns serve within the Grace Leadership Community and apprentice under a senior leader, who provides godly encouragement, supervision, and accountability. Interns are further equipped by their participation in the dMAKERu leadership training track, including: The School of Discipleship, Leadership Intensive, and Missional Core.
:: Missional Interns are support-raised positions. Participants are required to raise a majority of their support goal before their start date. Grace provides a housing stipend. We come alongside and walk with each Intern through the entire process.
