Mark your calendars for a special night of seeking reconciliation and healing as we Turn the Page on the significant period of difficulty in our life together at Grace.

This has been a hard season: politics, masks, vaccines, and church conflict have presented opportunity for division and strife. In August, the pastors invited us into a season wherein we asked God to search our hearts to reveal any persons that we may need to approach to start the process of asking for or receiving forgiveness. They also encouraged us to take stock of the various challenges and bring our grief to Jesus through prayer and lament. Turn the Page is a way for us to commemorate all the relational work that we’ve done with each other and with the Lord. It is also a way for us to start fresh as a community on All Saints Day, Nov. 7th.

Turn the Page is NOT the last day for us to work through any differences we may have. Rather, we wanted to make a day wherein we commemorate the good and right work of reconciliation that we’re all called to in God’s Word: “Now all thesethings are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5:18-19).
