Doctrinal Foundations Class

Do you ever wonder why we recite the creeds on Sunday morning and say the things we do about God, the church, and the world? Do you wonder why it is important to affirm that Jesus is both God and man, and that his death on the cross and subsequent resurrection two thousand years ago are relevant to the entire world today, and indeed to all of creation for eternity?

If these and similar questions interest, excite, or even trouble you, then please join us for our upcoming seven-week series, “Thinking about God.” Co-led by Pastor Brit+ and Jefferson Webster, we will explore these and other biblical and theological topics as integral to discipleship in the real world. There will be ample opportunity for questions, discussions, and prayer.

The classes start on Wednesday, October 4 and run to November 15. Each evening will begin at 5:30 with a meal for all participants and their families, after which childcare will be provided during the teaching and discussion sessions. We will end promptly at 7:15.
