Faith + the Maker

Old School Makerspace was founded with the belief that all people are made in the image of God and that creative expression is a reflection of that image. For this reason, the act of making is good in and of itself. However, there is more to it than simply the act of making. What we make also matters.
In this Faith + the Maker session, we will consider the back to back narratives in Exodus of the plans for the tabernacle and the golden calf incident. These stories serve as an important warning and a divine invitation to all makers. To a greater or lesser extent, what we make either aids in the worship of God—or glorifies the lesser gods of this world. Join us as we grapple with and explore this important conversation together.
